Cork is where I live and mostly work.
The county is the largest on the island of Ireland. The city is recognised as the second city of the Republic, but is regarded by its inhabitants as the "real capital".
Not being a native - I only came here when Eisenhower was in the White House - and being of Dublin parentage, I stay neutral on the latter point.
