Historical Documents on UCC website

I happened across some interesting - to me at least - resources in the website of UCC's History Department. They consist of accounts of negotiations between Hugh O'Neill (a.k.a. the Great O'Neill) and his Elizabethan antagonists in the period of the Nine Years War at the end of the 16th century, and also excerpts from contemporary correspondence and minutes. I am still reading it, but can already recommend it for those who may have been paying attention to recent accounts of the same period in London (included in biographical pieces on Elizabeth I) : it gives a new perspective on Essex's activities.
